Living in Dharma, Dharma Retreat in Diano Green, Liguria (5/29 – 6/1) & Har Gobinday Retreat in Tenerife (7/11 – 7/18)

Namaste,
dear friends

Today I want to share an important teaching on the yogic spiritual path: living in Dharma.

Dharma is a Sanskrit word derived from the root “to support,” “to maintain,” and indicates “universal order”; “right action,” “truth.”

Living in Dharma involves actions such as “giving water to a thirsty dog,” “getting up to give a seat to an elder,” “being kind and nonviolent; in thoughts, words, and actions,” but also having the courage to look within and manifest our natural talents.

We are all One and at the same time unique. Each person’s life purpose is different and leads us to the same higher purpose of returning to the Cosmic Home. Just as all the different rivers lead to the same ocean.

When you study Vedic astrology, you observe the planets and constellations in the different houses of work, success, health, family, travel, relationships, and spirituality. You realize how we truly came here to earth to refine our qualities, release our karma, and reveal our Divine creativity so that the world could be a better place for everyone.

The world gets worse especially when we close ourselves off and forget Who We Are; because we came here to create something beautiful and special; therefore, we have a duty to fulfill and realize that destiny.

Dharma protects us, elevates us, makes us prosper and enlighten us; being “dharmic” opens our paths, and we finally discover the true meaning of life in sharing and love.

We cannot allow ourselves to be taken in by the sick world; by becoming sick ourselves… Let’s start healing ourselves: let’s love ourselves and open our hearts and our creativity.

Yogananda tells us: “Don’t let life flow in an ordinary way. Do something no one has ever done. Something that will amaze the world. Show that God’s creative principle is working through you.”

Acting, thinking, and vibrating in Dharma liberates consciousness (Moksha) and allows us to live in harmony with nature within and without.
