Prema Kriya Yoga – Yoga and Vedic Astrology Workshop: We Are the Mirror of the Universe in Milan and online – Online 20-hour Course: The Planets and Chakras (According to Jyotish – Vedic Astrology)

Lately, I’ve been experiencing a profound nostalgia: the kind that defies explanation and transcends time.

I feel there’s still so much to experience and so much inner growth to be accomplished, along with a vast array of memories: memories of moments that will never return: this isn’t just a personal feeling, but also, and above all, a collective one.

Life is truly overwhelming, and the world is even more so, with its positives and negatives, its ups and downs, its beauty and ugliness, its successes and failures, its gains and losses, its sunny days and rainy ones, its sunrises and sunsets. I realize that it is precisely these continuous cycles that define the very act of living.

This duality leads me to observe time passing before my eyes, where essential and difficult experiences alternate with joyful and happy ones. I learn every day, especially through yoga, that both are blessings: they teach us, shape us, and become part of our story.

All this is sobering: on the one hand, there is a great transformation taking place, both externally and internally, for the individual and for the community. Yet, at the same time, something remains: something enduring, eternal, infinite, and ever-present. There is a “time in between,” an eternal present: a presence present in every moment.

I realize we can experience this non-chronological time when we do what we love most or when we create something born from the heart. In those moments, time stands still: whether through a meditative yoga practice, but also through writing, music, dance, singing, painting, or a loving touch; through appreciating and feeling everything with every cell of our being; through connecting with nature and animals or sharing authentic human encounters; through looking someone in the eye or practicing altruism and gratitude.

All of this is infinite; it exists forever: it transcends time.

My hope is that we may cultivate this “time beyond time” throughout our existence: an existence so precious and fragile, brief yet eternal.

May we nourish this loving presence: is it not the same one manifested by Christ and the greatest masters and teachers of every tradition and era?

It calls us to reveal itself and seeks to be reborn through us—in a state of compassion, solidarity, and Divine Love—a love that truly knows no end.

Let us affirm with all our attention and devotion, to remember Who we are:

“I am the infinite. Above, below, left and right, within, without. I behold eternity, I am That. I am not a small body in this finite world of dreams and illusions. I am extended in eternal space. I am a great light shining upon the Universe. I am immortal. I am Bliss.” Yogananda

Would you like to learn more and deepen your understanding of yoga, meditation, and living in this elevated state of consciousness?

An Evening of Bhakti Yoga Devotional Chants

In Brazil, there’s a saying: “Quem canta seus males espanta,” which translated into English means “He who sings, drives away all evil.” These words align perfectly with the teachings of Master Yogananda, who reminds us, “Singing is half the battle.”

Yoga is infinite and connects us with that true and pure space that dwells within each of our hearts. Mantra chants and sacred words are yogic techniques of naad yoga, or the yoga of sound. When chanted continuously, with concentration and devotion (bhakti), they clear mental chatter and create space for a true inner state of profound healing, in the Light of the Self.

After each chant, we will enter Anahata Nada: the “unstruck sound,” feeling and receiving the subtle vibration heard in the profound silence of meditation.

Come join us, On this cosmic journey of Divine Love, Prema.

Inspiration

In the Bhagavad Gita, Arjuna falls to the ground in deep reverence. He realizes that Krishna is not just a person, but the infinite energy that holds everything together. In Chapter 11, Verse 40, it is then said:

“Homage to You from before, from behind, and on all sides! O unlimited power, You are the lord of limitless strength! You pervade everything, and therefore, You are everything!”

I think it’s interesting to reflect that our so-called “strengths” are also something to be observed, cultivated, and refined: to remain attentive, present, and recognize that nothing can be taken for granted.

Sri Yukteswar, a great guru, yogi, philosopher, and Vedic astrologer, clarifies in Paramhansa Yogananda’s Autobiography of a Yogi:

“The horoscope is a compelling portrait, revealing our unalterable past and our probable future outcomes.”

In this precious statement, we can understand that Yukteswar teaches us to look at life with the understanding that everything that happens to us in the present, in some way, has been created and reflected by us: by our actions, words, intentions, and past beliefs. However, he also explains that everything can be changed, because a “probable” future does not mean being “predestined” for anything.

As practitioners of yoga and meditation, we can—through internal actions and external choices—learn subtleties, clarify, improve, and, in some cases, even burn away certain past karma. Therefore, a yogi’s astrological chart may be unpredictable if they have already modeled and done deep, internal work on some aspect reflected in their “sky photo” or astrological chart at the time of birth.

The study and practice of yoga, along with that of Vedic astrology (Jyotish), are complementary and mutually supportive on the path to self-knowledge and spiritual awakening. It is of immense value to understand our tendencies, the location and influence of the planets in our different astrological houses, and consequently, our lives. And, combined with this knowledge of the stars, it is greatly encouraging to know that yogic practices such as asanas (physical postures), pranayama (breathing exercises and the expansion of the life force), mantras (sacred words), mudras (energetic gestures), affirmations, visualizations, and meditations can be considered as upayas or remedies that balance planetary influences, protect us, and mitigate the effects of past karmas. Along with yantras, gems, certain ceremonial practices, and a harmonious and natural lifestyle, yoga is a great power that transforms us and reminds us that we are Pure Light—Pure Consciousness that reflects the sky.

Would you like to learn more and delve deeper into yoga and Vedic astrology?

I have prepared a wonderful course for you.

Course: Planets and Chakras (according to Jyotish – Vedic astrology)

20 hours online – with 8 theoretical and practical modules

Namaste, dear friends,

The last newsletter was dedicated to clarifying the true and profound meaning of yoga.

I presented this based on the sacred texts that codified it and the words of the great enlightened Masters who truly realized and lived it—entering *Samadhi*, or superconsciousness (*Turiya* or *Shuniya*).

To read the full text, please visit this link: https://www.premakriyayoga.com/yoga-is/

Yoga is…?

This time, I would like to delve deeper into the explanation so that we may understand that yoga is indeed—as previously stated—*Samadhi*, or the realization of being part of that “One manifesting in everything and everyone.” At the same time, it is the path toward Infinite Consciousness; it is a journey of healing, an ancient yet highly advanced technological science, and an ancestral psycho-physical, energetic, and spiritual art.

Sacred texts do not merely describe yoga as a state of consciousness; they also provide us with true “maps” outlining the steps that allow the revelation of the Supreme Self to unfold as fluidly and naturally as possible.

The process of spiritual awakening is gradual and requires discipline, willpower, patience, and a lack of expectation. These are crucial points that tend to be forgotten in today’s increasingly mechanized “spiritual marketplace,” where it is far more lucrative to sell “instant enlightenment”—much like an “Instagram” photo designed for immediate sharing.

Another essential point to clarify is that yoga is open to everyone: whether one simply wishes to know oneself better and cultivate presence and awareness; to foster greater physical and mental health or connect more deeply with inner peace; or to pursue any other motivation that draws one to the practice. This desire for spiritual growth can emerge over time—even during sporadic practice or while seeking more “worldly” or “external” benefits—for the teacher and yoga itself exclude no one, opening their doors and hearts to all.

The truth is that an interest in this discipline never arises by chance, even if the practitioner is not consciously seeking any specific form of “liberation” or “enlightenment.” Indeed, in my humble view, if the practitioner persists, transformations at every level—both gross and subtle—will inevitably occur, whether intended or not. They may call it by a different name, but these metamorphoses will certainly involve the awakening of *Kundalini* (the spiritual energy said to lie dormant within the astral spine) and of Divine consciousness.

The aspect of yoga we call “physical”—along with its physical, mental, and emotional effects—is absolutely valid and, indeed, wonderful. Today, numerous studies substantiate the effects of meditation and practices such as Kriya Yoga, Hatha Yoga, and Kundalini Yoga. It has been confirmed that this discipline improves posture, flexibility, and muscle strength; enhances concentration; alleviates headaches and back pain; reduces stress and anxiety levels; and offers a host of other incredible benefits. I cannot count how many times I have heard students say at the end of a class that a persistent ache vanished during the practice… and, I must say, everyone tells me, “I feel much better than before,” after a session together.

Physical postures (*asanas*), psychophysical exercises (*kriyas*), movements synchronized with conscious breathing, *pranayama* (yogic breathing that directs energy), mantras (sacred words that purify the individual’s internal and external vibrations), and meditation gradually lead the practitioner to experience profound well-being, abundant vitality, clarity, and calm; furthermore, if the practitioner persists, the practice will refine and expand their consciousness into a state of deep peace.

Here is a vitally important teaching from Master Yogananda:
“You must be able to remain still amidst the crash of breaking worlds.”

Is there anything more powerful?

That is why I repeat, again and again: practice yoga, meditate, and you will see that life becomes more truly *Life*, and its purpose will reveal itself to be full of truth and radiance.

Since every individual is unique—with a distinct history and personal perceptions—we can each benefit from yogic psychophysical techniques tailored to our specific nature. Everyone is going through a unique phase in life; therefore, while group yoga practice is comprehensive—addressing all aspects (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual)—individual practice offers added power and specificity, directly targeting what we need at that particular time.

In Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, the sacred text of Yoga, Yoga is defined as the cessation of mental-emotional fluctuations.

This goal leads to the state of Samadhi (meditative absorption), described primarily in the first chapter (Samadhi Pada).

The exact sutra that defines Yoga is the following:

Yoga Sutra 1.2: “Yogas chitta vritti nirodhah”

Yoga: Union in God, firm concentration in the Divine, and integration into life in this consciousness.

Chitta: The mind or field of consciousness and the heart of the individual.

Vritti: The modifications, vortices, or fluctuations, the waves of thoughts and emotions.

Nirodhah: Cessation, control, or stilling.

In this view, the meaning of Yoga and Samadhi are two sides of the same coin: Yoga is both the process (the control and direction of the mind-heart) and the result (Samadhi itself).

Immediately after defining Yoga in Sutra 1.2, Patanjali describes its immediate effect:

Yoga Sutra 1.3: “Tada drastuh svarupe avasthanam”

Yoga Sutra 1.3: “Tada drastuh svarupe avasthanam,” which can be translated as:
“Then the Seer establishes himself in his True Nature.”

When the “vortices” of the mind are calmed (through the practice of yoga), individual consciousness frees itself from identifications and settles in its original, pure state: this is the state of Samadhi: a return to the True Home.

This state (Yoga = Samadhi) is only possible through meditation and maintaining a harmonious and natural lifestyle.

But what does meditation really mean?

We can say that meditation is, above all, being present, in the here and now. It means “unplugging” from the external senses and being in perfect memory of the Supreme Self. This conscious experience allows us to realize that we are observers of ourselves, of others, and of all life itself. Meditation is coming into contact with the inner self (small self and the Higher Self), discovering that everything we see outside is actually a profound reflection of what dwells within.

There are many forms, techniques, and ways to meditate. However, what I feel is most true and powerful is stopping completely in inner silence. Paramahansa Yogananda, my beloved Gurudeva of Kriya Yoga, says: “Silence is the altar of the Spirit.” This means that silence is the true nourishment of the soul. Only in complete stillness can we clearly see everything within us, and it is in total stillness that we can fully listen to the Divine voice, in our heart, in the Self.

It’s wonderful to contemplate a sunset, observe a flower about to bloom, listen to the sound of birds, and see a dog or a child running and playing… Being in a state of reflection and full attention aids and complements the act of meditation, but it is not in itself: “meditating.” In my humble opinion, meditation is, as Patanjali says, Samadhi, or total and complete immersion beyond the senses, in superconsciousness (turyia).

In Kriya Yoga, when one meditates, one enters the spiritual eye, penetrating it. Entering the state of total absorption takes a certain amount of time, and it requires immense courage and willpower to focus so deeply that one pierces the cosmic illusions or the so-called “veil of maya.” At the same time, this meditative act occurs without any tension; rather, it occurs only in complete and total relaxation and abandonment; combined with firm concentration, without distractions and without any other external action. In true meditation, the only action is to connect with God, with the Guru, with the Mother, with the Father, with the Self, with the essence of life that begins (Brahma), sustains (Vishnu), and dissolves all (Shiva)—or whatever you wish to call It.

This type of meditation, as described in the previous paragraph, is for souls who have already “played” enough in this ¨dance of duality¨ (also called lila) and who finally want to liberate themselves (moksha) and return to the True Home. It is important to note that such beings are not indifferent to external life; on the contrary, they are usually deeply sensitive and full of compassion for all the suffering and pain in the world. The yogi-yogini carries out his or her task and service in the world, to the best of his or her ability, with the aim of contributing to greater beauty, lightness, fluidity, and external harmony; but he or she understands that the true, safe path is to root oneself in the Divine, knowing that we are all waves that then return to the same Cosmic Ocean.

Namaste, dear friends.

Today I’d like to reflect with you on:

Daya – Compassion, the Path to Peace

Every being has its own complex karma: with difficulties and limitations, but also with blessings and graces. For this reason, I feel the need in all of us to awaken “daya,” or compassion for others and ourselves, with a broader understanding of reality. Only then can we truly be at peace.

When I participated in the “yoga de rua” project in Rio de Janeiro (https://yogaderua.org), a nonprofit organization that helps the homeless, I saw people with nothing and no prospects for the future, with greater serenity and spiritual elevation than many who are guaranteed a good meal and a comfortable bed every day.

This makes you think: “What is the ‘measure’ of well-being?” “Having the essentials?” “Having everything?” “Being a rich person who takes advantage of and exploits others, waging war?”

Of course: some are better off and more privileged than others, while others face far more difficult battles every day.

But who guarantees that one is “better off” than another? How do we measure it?

In my humble opinion, I see and feel that those who are better off are those with a richer inner life.

This is why I was inspired to develop the concept of “daya,” or compassion: because we cannot truly know what each person is experiencing. We can’t rely on what we see outside or on social media: we only truly know a person within the four walls of their home, and sometimes not even there: only within each individual, in their conscience and in their heart.

Can a person who kills, steals, intentionally harms, is violent, and selfishly starts a war and wants “everything for himself” be well? Where? How?

It’s comforting to remember that karma returns, for better or for worse: what we say, think, vibrate, transmit, do… Everything returns, sooner or later, in this life or another. Not because you or I want it, but because it is a universal and incorruptible law.

Life, in the broadest sense of the word, doesn’t make mistakes. Everything comes… and it will come in its own time.

Therefore, it’s not worth letting ourselves be influenced by what others do or don’t do. We may disagree with someone, but cultivating and fueling hatred only leads us to create destructive karma, especially for ourselves, causing us, at the very least, nervous system problems and indigestion…

Of course, it’s true that sometimes we can’t “choose not to be influenced,” but we can choose to observe when something affects us, irritates us, and/or saddens us; we can breathe deeply and ask ourselves: “Why does this or that hurt me so much?”, “Why do certain things affect me more than others?” Reflecting on this, we understand that it’s simply because something is reflected from within outward. The work is always internal: the other is ourselves… and it is this awareness that brings us compassion and peace.

Human beings are often hypocrites, and as much as they “fight for peace” outside the home, perhaps they continue to wage war within the walls of their homes…

Therefore, in my humble opinion, it’s important to be informed and to see with open eyes what’s happening in the world; however, for those on a spiritual path, or even for those who simply want to feel better and more at peace, it’s crucial to choose not to be overwhelmed by the news, as these are vibrations that disturb us. diminishing our peace. Yogananda said something powerful: “Remain calm amid the din of the crashing worlds.”

The most helpful and beneficial thing is to ask ourselves: “How can I reveal my best self?”, “What good things can I cultivate?”, “What habits and consumption patterns should I reduce or abandon entirely, and which should I cultivate?”, “What is my role in all this?” The truth is that if we don’t start with ourselves, we can’t expect “others or the world to transform,” right? Another inspiration from the Master is:

“Work on yourself, on your reactions to external circumstances. This is the essence of yoga: to neutralize the waves of reactions in one’s heart.” Yogananda

Another question that helps maintain calm and inner peace is: “How can I see the good in others?” After all, good and evil are present in all creation and in every being…

I’m not saying we should deny the evil that exists, but I think it’s even more interesting to cultivate the good within ourselves, to nurture beauty and admire the sunlight, because these things are always available to us. And so, turning inward once again, we can reflect: “What beautiful things do I have to offer, to channel and transmit?”

I believe we can choose to rise up and be grateful for life, because it, with all its difficulties and challenges, also gives us many blessings, and it’s a shame not to see them, don’t you agree?

It’s not about denying that this or that is really happening in the world, collectively or individually… but to understand that there is an even more subtle and powerful law, which is the law of the Universe, and that we can truly connect and access this Divine source… This is what I try to encourage you to do. Because I know the potential and beauty in each of you and in us.

Changes are part of life and can represent a great opportunity to live other experiences, even better and unexpected ones.

SSri Yukteswar, Yogananda’s Kriya Yoga master, enlightens us with these words: “What man has done, he can also undo.”

I have learned and am still learning to truly open my single eye and see into this immensity: let´s have FAITH (Śraddhā)!

I’ve experienced something in this area, so I want to share it with all of you: the practice of yoga and meditation is the “golden key” to achieving a healthier, holier, happier life, in a state of presence, transformation, compassion, and enlightenment.

I look forward to seeing you for retreats, courses, workshops, and practices, online or in person.

With love, Prema, and in service,

“It is far better to fulfill one’s own natural duty, even if tainted by defects, than to fulfill another’s duty, even if perfectly. Indeed, it is preferable to die in the line of duty rather than follow another’s path, fraught with danger.

What does Krishna mean here…? In my experience and reading the comments of great masters, such as Yogananda, this teaching invites us to be ourselves, completely true and authentic.

Being ourselves, completely true and authentic

In order to reveal our true Divine nature, which comes from the One Source and expresses itself with freedom, creativity, and intuition, it is important to “return” a little to being like children, to a state of spontaneous innocence, without fear of making mistakes: acting with trust and courage, letting go and abandoning ourselves into the arms of the Divine Mother.

To fulfill our true Dharma, or Divine natural duty, we must stop listening to the false whims of the ego that reinforces our feeling of being inferior or superior to others. When we copy someone else’s duty, it means we have a feeling of insecurity, of not being enough, and we don’t trust what we have to offer. This feeling of “less” is the flip side of superiority: where we imagine ourselves to be more important or more special than someone else. In this way, we only cultivate suffering and dissatisfaction.

Our heart, soul, and deepest feelings are never wrong

Being transparent can sometimes be a little scary because we certainly won’t be able to please everyone; but it ensures we follow our heart, our soul, and our deepest feelings, which, in the bigger picture, are never wrong, even when they appear and/or temporarily do so. This is because, even when mistakes occur, if we are following the essence, that same mistake leads us to transformation, induces unexpected changes and paths that are often even more beautiful than those created by mental expectations.

Yoga teaches us to remember (smirit) that we are a spark of the Divine cosmic ocean and each of us has a unique quality and expression.

Realizing the creative Self

This sacred science helps us realize the creative Self through postures and exercises (asanas—which are laboratories of self-knowledge), mantras and pranayama breathing, which awaken energy, and above all through the superconscious meditations of Kriya Yoga and the psychophysical-energetic purification Kriyas of Kundalini Yoga. Structured practices on the mat and cushion rekindle states of greater presence and consciousness, even during life’s experiences.

Little by little, as we discover and manifest this True Nature, we also find a sense of greater happiness, completeness, and satisfaction. This also improves our overall health and our physical and mental radiance, as we rekindle our dharmic mission and begin to live increasingly aligned with our sweetest and most loving truth.

It’s important to emphasize that this “calling” or “mission” doesn’t necessarily have to be something “grandiose.” Dharma reveals itself, above all and initially, in small daily actions: in what life demands of us at that moment and at that time: giving the dog water when he asks is therefore “Dharmic.” Over time, and little by little, life speaks to us and prompts us to do small actions, then larger ones.

The only obstacle to living lightly in this Dharma is our mind, which often lies. As he says in his own Bhagavad Gita, in chapter 6, verse 5:

uddhared atmanatmanam
natmanam avasadayet
atmaiva hy atmano bandhur
atmaiva ripur manah

And here’s the translation:

“Man should use his mind to elevate himself, not to degrade himself. The mind can be a friend of the conditioned soul, or it can be its enemy.”

And later, in verse 6 of the same chapter 6:

bandhur atmatmanas tasya
yenatmaivatmana jitah
anatmanas tu satrutve
vartetatmaiva satru-vat

Which means:
“For one who has conquered the mind, the mind is the best friend; But for those who fail in this attempt, the mind becomes the worst enemy”.

Therefore, to leave the mind clear and thus no longer have it as an obstacle to true realization, true knowledge, and the encounter with one’s own Divine and dharmic qualities, the spiritual seeker must meditate, meditate, meditate, with depth, discipline, attention, and devotion, and continually observe himself: only in this way will he be truly guided by the soul, by the truth of the Self.

In another classic scripture, the Amrita-bindu Upanishad 2, confirms the previous teaching:

mana eva manusyanam
karanam bandha-moksayoh
bandhaya visayasango
muktyai nirvisayam manah

“The mind is the cause of man’s bondage, but also of his liberation. The mind absorbed in sense objects is the cause of bondage, but when detached from those same objects, it is the cause of liberation. Therefore, the mind that is always engaged in Krishna consciousness leads to the supreme liberation.”

At the end of the teaching, Krishna tells Arjuna: in chapter 18, verse 63

iti te jñānam ākhyātaṁ guhyād guhyataraṁ mayā
vimṛiśhyaitad aśheṣheṇa yathechchhasi tathā kuru

“Therefore, I have revealed to you this knowledge, the most secret of all secrets. Ponder it deeply and then do as you see fit.”

Krishna emphasizes that the soul is not a robot, but a creator with the freedom to choose its own destiny.

And so… the question remains, which I leave to each heart to answer in the silence of its own being: what destiny do we want to create?

Namaste to all,

Kriya Yoga is a path to Self-realization and the liberation of consciousness (moksha). This consists of a comprehensive practice that includes daily structured meditation along with bringing this elevated consciousness, derived from meditation, into actions in the world, performed with presence in every word, gesture, and thought. The entire life is of vital importance and is part of the spiritual path of Kriya Yoga.

All the practices and studies of the Prema Kriya Yoga school are intended to purify the body and mind, making and keeping them healthy and strong, rebalancing and strengthening the glands and nervous system with the aim of awakening the vital energy (prana) so that practices of concentration (dharana) and long, contemplative, and deep meditations (dhyana), like those of Kriya Yoga, are possible and flow gracefully. Only in this way can this awakening be brought into daily life.

For those who wish to undertake the path of yoga, it is essential to seek balance in living in the world without being of it: developing the daily discipline of meditation, internalization, looking and studying deeply within oneself; and, at the same time, maintaining loving awareness in every action and choice in life.

In fact, Yogananda, the great master of Kriya Yoga, said that true freedom is not the freedom to do anything, but the freedom to do what must be done, guided by wisdom and a profound connection within the True Self, by the Infinite Divine Consciousness (or whatever you wish to call It), derived from the intuition that arises precisely from meditation.

I observe that, nowadays, there is some confusion in the spiritual world and in yoga (and beyond): many want to “achieve wisdom and realization without a path, without a journey, without discipline or effort.” I even sense a certain belief spreading rapidly that “meditating is easy: it’s too easy to just sit there “doing nothing,” and living life is difficult.” Life certainly isn’t a walk in the park and it’s a constant learning process, but the question arises: “If meditating is so easy, why do so few seekers maintain a daily, sustained “sadhana” or spiritual practice?”

Of course, we can function in the world in a meditative, conscious state: this too is of real importance. However, for those who wish to consciously evolve and grow spiritually, dedication and determination to meditate are necessary: only in this way will acceptance of what comes, both within and without, arise spontaneously and truly, along with the authentic development of non-judgment and unconditional love for oneself and others, and the expression of the Creative Truth of the Self…

By meditating attentively, one comes to the realization that each person is doing their best, within what their consciousness can grasp, at that moment… One understands that we all have our own shadows and difficulties to work through, both internally and externally… Astrologically speaking: “Saturn” (Shani) is in some house and constellation of each of us, and this Master does his work of slowing down and teaching: to arrive at patience and Wisdom (Gyan).

For those who wish to embark on an authentic journey, I am here for you, with all my heart.
I have been following this path for several years with immense devotion and feel a duty and mission to accompany other souls who hear the call.

Guru Yogananda (and every truly enlightened Master and Teacher) has always emphasized “bringing the portable paradise” of meditation into every moment of daily life. At the same time, he also emphasized the need to set aside moments throughout the year to enter more deeply into silence, deepen one’s metaphysical practices and studies, and thus fully regenerate, so as to then bring this Light of Consciousness more powerfully into one’s life.

It’s essential for a seeker on the yogic path to retreat from everyday life at least twice a year. Being with other souls on the path strengthens the “sangha,” or spiritual family, and helps us renew our intentions for growth and evolution.

For those who want to immerse themselves in practices, studies, and nature, both inside and out

This year I have prepared two retreats for you ⇣

Namaste to all

Today I wanted to share with you a delicate situation at Ananda Assisi, a place that has welcomed, purified, guided, and blessed me immensely more than once… Every time I connect internally with them, a great blessing flows within and outward. This is a place and spiritual home to so many souls, and it is currently experiencing a delicate moment because much of Ananda is rented and the owner has decided to sell. If these properties are not purchased, a significant portion of Ananda Assisi—about 70%, dedicated to hospitality—risks becoming unavailable.

In this video Ananda tells more and here you can also donate directly.

For this reason, I have created an event for March 7th, the day of celebration of Yogananda’s Mahasamadhi (the Great Final Exit of the Body of an Enlightened Master). And all the donations will go directly to Ananda…

I look forward to seeing you on Saturday, March 7th, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tenerife and England time on Zoom for an hour of meditation, prayer, chanting, and connection with this great Guru who truly saved my life and the lives of so many others.
Below is the Zoom link to join the meeting. I look forward to seeing you all.

Namaste,
dear friends

Today I want to share an important teaching on the yogic spiritual path: living in Dharma.

Dharma is a Sanskrit word derived from the root “to support,” “to maintain,” and indicates “universal order”; “right action,” “truth.”

Living in Dharma involves actions such as “giving water to a thirsty dog,” “getting up to give a seat to an elder,” “being kind and nonviolent; in thoughts, words, and actions,” but also having the courage to look within and manifest our natural talents.

We are all One and at the same time unique. Each person’s life purpose is different and leads us to the same higher purpose of returning to the Cosmic Home. Just as all the different rivers lead to the same ocean.

When you study Vedic astrology, you observe the planets and constellations in the different houses of work, success, health, family, travel, relationships, and spirituality. You realize how we truly came here to earth to refine our qualities, release our karma, and reveal our Divine creativity so that the world could be a better place for everyone.

The world gets worse especially when we close ourselves off and forget Who We Are; because we came here to create something beautiful and special; therefore, we have a duty to fulfill and realize that destiny.

Dharma protects us, elevates us, makes us prosper and enlighten us; being “dharmic” opens our paths, and we finally discover the true meaning of life in sharing and love.

We cannot allow ourselves to be taken in by the sick world; by becoming sick ourselves… Let’s start healing ourselves: let’s love ourselves and open our hearts and our creativity.

Yogananda tells us: “Don’t let life flow in an ordinary way. Do something no one has ever done. Something that will amaze the world. Show that God’s creative principle is working through you.”

Acting, thinking, and vibrating in Dharma liberates consciousness (Moksha) and allows us to live in harmony with nature within and without.

Namaste

Two retreats that I´ve prepared for you…

Would you like to learn more about Dharma and how yoga can help us in this process of liberating consciousness?

Here are two retreats I’ve prepared for you this year.

May we be more aware, conscious, and present in Love every day in our thoughts, words, and actions.

May we remember our True Nature, with gratitude for everything, even dualities, in a continuous and curious discovery, welcoming our shadows with a peaceful gaze and allowing the transformation into who we truly are to come in Its time.

May we manifest the Divine creativity that arises in every heart and express it with freedom: knowing that each one of us is unique and has a gift to offer the world, let us never forget: we are precious pearls.

May yoga be practiced with devotion, concentration, and consistency, giving us strong, healthy, and light bodies and minds; prosperity, peace, and light; but above all, may it be practiced with the purpose of awakening from “maya”—the cosmic illusion—to live in Wisdom and free ourselves from ignorance (avidya).

May this sacred science, like a rare ray, illuminate us both through superconscious meditation and in every moment of our lives.

May Love reveal itself and be reborn within us with every breath, and, like a luminous, golden ball, may it grow, expanding toward everything and everyone: human beings, animals, plants, minerals, and all creation that comes from the same Father and Mother.

May we support each other as a true “sangha”—a spiritual family, Divine brothers and sisters, helping and welcoming each other through thick and thin, understanding our differences;
And as the sage “Patanjali” counsels us, may we rejoice in the happiness of others, protect the less fortunate, cultivate equanimity toward the less virtuous, and experience friendship toward all: uniting in Prema (Divine Love).

These are my sincere wishes for this beginning of a new cycle and beyond… to infinity.

With love, prema
